Community Guidelines
Last updated: 2 October 2026
CIRCLE is for real conversations with people you choose. These guidelines apply to everything on CIRCLE: messages, group chats, photos, videos, voice messages, calls, group names and photos, @handles, display names, Vibes, Halos and Ripples. We have zero tolerance for objectionable content and abusive users.
1. The spirit of CIRCLE
Treat people the way you’d want to be treated. Respect “no”: if someone declines your chat request or stops replying, let it go. Private doesn’t mean anything goes; these rules apply even inside encrypted chats.
2. What’s not allowed
- Harassment and bullying. Repeated unwanted contact, insults, intimidation, doxxing (sharing someone’s private information), or encouraging others to target someone.
- Hate. Attacking or dehumanising people based on race, ethnicity, national origin, religion, caste, sex, gender, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability or serious disease.
- Sexual content involving minors. Zero tolerance. Any sexual content involving anyone under 18, or sexualising minors in any way, leads to an immediate permanent ban and is reported to the relevant authorities.
- Non-consensual intimate imagery. Sharing, or threatening to share, intimate images or videos of someone without their consent, including fake or AI-generated ones.
- Threats and violence. Threatening to hurt anyone, inciting violence, or promoting terrorism or violent extremism.
- Spam and scams. Bulk or unsolicited messages, fraud, phishing, fake giveaways, investment or romance scams, and malicious links.
- Impersonation. Pretending to be another person, brand or organisation in a way that misleads people, including through your @handle or display name.
- Illegal goods and activities. Selling or promoting illegal drugs, weapons, stolen goods or data, or any other illegal activity.
- Self-harm promotion. Encouraging suicide, self-harm or eating disorders. If you or someone you know is in danger, contact local emergency services.
3. How to report and block
- Report: open the chat, tap the menu, then choose Report and pick a reason (for example spam, harassment or bullying, inappropriate content, or impersonation).
- Block: in the same menu, choose Block. They can no longer message you.
- Chat requests: people you haven’t accepted can only send a request; they can’t message you until you accept. Open Requests to accept, decline or block.
- Email: you can also write to support@jijilabsdigital.com, including if you don’t have the app or your concern involves your safety.
Reports are confidential: we don’t tell the reported person who reported them.
4. Enforcement
We review every report within 24 hours. Depending on how serious the violation is, we may remove content, reclaim an @handle, issue a warning, suspend the account, or permanently ban it. Severe violations, such as sexual content involving minors, credible threats or non-consensual intimate imagery, lead to an immediate permanent ban, and we report illegal content to the authorities where required or appropriate. People who are banned may not create new accounts.
Because chats are end-to-end encrypted, we can’t see message content on our servers. We act on the information in reports and the account and profile information available to us. See our Privacy Policy for what a report contains and our Terms of Use for the full rules.
5. Contact
If you think we made a mistake, or you want to report something urgent, email support@jijilabsdigital.com.
